PROM – June 12th
- Tickets: $20/person – Pay Ms. Underhill before June 2nd.
- 7:45 pm – Grads meet at Boom Road Church
- 8:20 pm – Grads begin drive to the school.
- 8:30 pm – Grand March Begins
- Students will exit their vehicles at the Main Entrance of the school, walk along the front of the school and enter by the cafeteria doors.
- In case of rain, graduates will meet at the school at 8:00 pm and we will parade through the gymnasium.
- Prom – 8:30-11:30 pm in the School Cafeteria
- Pictures can be taken from 8:30 to 9:30. Parents will be asked to leave at 9:30.
- Any student under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the prom will receive a five-day suspension. This includes suspension from graduation activities. The diploma will be mailed should this occur.
- Graduates are responsible for their guests.
Sunday, June 15th- Baccalaureate/Graduation Banquet
- 5:00 pm – Baccalaureate in NSER Cafeteria
- 5:45 pm – Graduation Banquet in NSER Cafeteria
- Each graduate can purchase up to 4 tickets. Tickets will cost $20.00 each. Please purchase tickets at the main office before June 6.
- Tables will have assigned seats.
- Students are asked to dress semi-formal for this event.
Thursday June 19th. – Graduation Day
- 10:30 am – Graduation Practice – All graduates must attend.
- Following the practice, there will be a draw for reserved seating for parents/guardians (2 seats per student). All other seats are on a first come first serve basis unless otherwise indicated.
- Students must remember to bring their cap, gown, sash, etc. to Graduation!
- Although students will be wearing a cap and gown for graduation, they are asked to wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
- 7:00 pm – Sunny Corner Fire Hall
- Grads to line up and get gowns on
- In case of rain, graduates will line up in NSER’s Cafeteria at 7:00 pm.
- 7:30 pm – Graduation Exercises
- Each student will be given five invitations. Each invitation is good for two guests. If a student would like more than 5 tickets, please contact the office. These are for seating on the floor. Everyone is welcome to attend graduation, but those without an invitation are asked to sit in the bleachers.
- We will be hiring a professional photographer so everyone can enjoy the evening.
- Prizes, scholarships, and bursaries announced at graduation will not have the actual prize in the envelope. Students can collect their prize once they bring a Thank You card in to the school. The card is to be addressed and stamped to the individual or organization who donated the prize.
- Immediately after the graduation, graduates will line up on the lawn.
- 11:45pm – 6:00 am – Safe Grad
- Arrival Time: Students must arrive between 11:45 and 12:15. No entry will be allowed after 12:15
- Bag Checks: All bags will be checked before entering school.
- Leaving Early: Students cannot leave until 6:00 unless a guardian notifies the staff.
